Project Neon

About This Project

The largest public works project to date in the state of Nevada, Project Neon widened nearly 4 miles of I-15 between Sahara Avenue and the Spaghetti Bowl. The project also includes extensive re-construction and re-alignment of several surface streets. The selected theme for the project draws inspiration from the meadows that first drew settlers to the area. Design elements include custom, interchangeable form liner patterns on retaining and sound walls, back-lit bridge abutment art panels, dry-stack accent walls, ground plane treatments, site furnishings, public art, and streetscape plantings.
