Blooming Cactus Park

About This Project

This park marks a significant milestone as the city’s 74th park and the third in the vibrant Cadence community. Located at Grand Cadence Drive and Mary Baer Way, the 7-acre park features a variety of exciting amenities for all ages, including a unique urban-style vertical play structure, pickleball and tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas, and recreational turf.

A standout feature of Blooming Cactus Park is its innovative Ninja Warrior-style fitness course, a first for Henderson! This design-forward park, developed by the LAGE Design team, brings both functionality and creativity to the community, with a focus on creating spaces that encourage activity and wellness for all.

LAGE Design is proud to have contributed to this project, working closely with Landwell Company and the City of Henderson to bring a dynamic, multi-use park to life that aligns with the city’s strategic goal of being a Healthy, Livable, and Sustainable City. Blooming Cactus Park is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to ensure that every resident has access to parks and green spaces within a 10-minute walk from home.

We’re excited to see the park thrive as a hub for recreation and wellness for years to come!
