Project Sparkle is a transformative initiative in North Las Vegas aimed at revitalizing the city’s public parks and recreational spaces. Launched in 2024, this ambitious project focuses on renovating 20 parks south of Craig Road, with a total investment of over $11 million. The first phase includes upgrades to eight parks, introducing new amenities such as splash pads, playgrounds, dog parks, and improved lighting. The project prioritizes community input, inviting residents to share their ideas for enhancements like new trees, exercise equipment, and turf improvements. 

Valley View Park, one of the first to undergo renovations, showcases the vision of Project Sparkle with its upgraded recreational facilities, vibrant splash pads, and fresh green spaces. Overall, the initiative is a significant step towards creating more engaging, safe and accessible public spaces for the North Las Vegas community.
