LAGE Design participated in public outreach meetings and a design charette to engage with residents of the Scotch Eighties and adjacent neighborhood associations to design a 1.4-acre dual cell neighborhood dog park. The park is designed to both complement and celebrate the unique visual character of the surrounding historical neighborhoods. Amenities include separate open turf areas for both large dogs and small dogs, perimeter sidewalks, ornamental landscape plantings, site furnishings, perimeter fencing, architecturally appropriate shade ramadas, and placemaking focal art elements that speak to the surrounding historical context and create a sense of place for this unique project.
